Susan Leigh Dowdy has worked in the customer experience and marketing fields since 2001. Susan Leigh began their career at Assurant Solutions, where they served as the Marketing Director from 2001 to 2006. In this role, they developed alternative marketing programs that balanced innovative solutions with regulatory risk. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Hoffmann & Associates, LLC - Environmental Consulting Services, where they served as the Operations Director. In this role, they created strategic plans for execution and management of comprehensive assessments for clients. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at American International Group (AIG) as the Global Head | Customer Experience Operations. In this role, they developed the strategy for continuously improving customers' experiences with the company and converted the strategy into a tactical blueprint implemented by global teams. Since 2017, they have worked at Agnos Inc. as the Global Head - Customer Experience Center of Excellence. In this role, they are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and continuous improvements for customer operations within this innovative technology-driven company.

Susan Leigh Dowdy obtained their MBA in Marketing Management from Augusta University - College of Business Administration between 1994 and 1997. In 2009, they obtained a LEED AP Designation from the United States Green Building Council. Susan Leigh also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a Certification in Paralegal from Augusta University. In addition, they have obtained a Six Sigma Certification in 2017, a LEED AP - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional in 2009, and a SMaRT (Sustainable Materials and Renewable Technologies) in 2007 from Market Transformation to Sustainability.
