Oktay Goktas

Oktay Goktas is the Founder and CEO of Agnostiq, where work focuses on developing the next generation AI and HPC platform, Covalent, since August 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Toronto from April 2017 to May 2018 and as an Assistant Professor at Munzur University from July 2011 to March 2017, leading research on advanced nanofabrication techniques for quantum electronic devices. Oktay Goktas also held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science between April 2009 and February 2011, specializing in quantum electronics, quantum computing, and software development. Academic credentials include a PhD in Physics from the Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research obtained in Stuttgart, Germany, and a Master of Science in Physics from Izmir Institute of Technology, Turkey.
