Scott Coates

Scott Coates, ACC, PHRi, currently serves as the Principal Consultant for Talent Business Partners at Agoda, focusing on driving employee engagement and organizational development within a global workforce of over 7,000. Previous roles include Director of People Development at EXO Travel, where Scott managed HR teams across multiple countries, and Executive Director at the Malaysia Canada Business Council, achieving significant growth in membership and event development. As a co-founder of Smiling Albino Ltd., Scott built a luxury travel company with a creative vision, and also worked as a team-building facilitator for various corporations. Scott holds a Bachelor of Communications in Journalism from Mount Royal University and has additional certifications in leadership from the East-West Center.
