Abanoub Amgad

Abanoub Amgad is a seasoned Lead NLP Engineer at Agolo since September 2017, where responsibilities include creating and evaluating client-specific ranking models and implementing Agolo’s Query Language for query parsing and understanding. Prior experience as a Data Scientist at Trendak involved developing machine learning models for text classification and an ARIMA model for trend detection using Twitter data, alongside building an alerting system for social media channels. Abanoub also worked as a Software Developer at ITSC, contributing to the Ghana Customs System and database design while using various technologies, and completed a software testing training program at the Information Technology Institute. Abanoub holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Systems from Cairo University, earned between 2011 and 2015.
