Derek Zheng

Derek Zheng has a diverse background in customer support and technical roles. Derek started their career at Bleum as a Production Control Engineer, where they were responsible for the operation of a world-famous E-commerce platform and the Change Process. Derek then moved on to EMC as a Technical Support Engineer, where they provided mentorship and training to the Tech Support team and supported EMC storage products. Derek later joined Zerto as an APJ Tech Lead & Trainer, and is currently working at Agora as a Global Manager of Customer Support.

Derek Zheng obtained a Master's degree in Business Management and Project Management from East China Normal University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai University from 2009 to 2013. In terms of certifications, they obtained the ZCP Cloud certification from Zerto in July 2017 and the VCP6 - DCV certification from VMware in March 2017. Additionally, they received the XtremIO 3.x Flash Storage Solutions certification from EMC in May 2015. It is unclear when they obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management and the Platform Engineer, VNX Specialist Version 8.0 (EMCPE) certification.
