Nick Fan

Nick Fan has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance, audit, and accounting. Nick began their career as an Audit Intern at BDO China and later joined KPMG China, where they worked as an Accountant, Assistant Manager, and Manager. During their time at KPMG China, they led project teams, provided auditing services, and gained expertise in IFRS, HKFRS, and PRC GAAP.

In 2015, Nick had an international rotation at KPMG US as a Senior Associate, where they engaged in multiple US local audit projects for real estate companies and pension plans. Nick developed a strong understanding of US GAAP and established good relationships with clients.

From 2017 to 2020, Nick served as the Finance Director at YI Technology, where they led a finance team in China and the US. Nick oversaw financial management, budgeting and analysis, financing, treasury management, accounting, and tax planning. Nick also supported pre-IPO round financing and debt financing plans.

Currently, Nick holds the position of Finance Director at Agora.io, where they lead a finance team and is responsible for financial planning and analysis, US GAAP financial reporting, treasury management, and financial due diligence. Nick has successfully supported US IPO and equity financing plans and established an internal control system.

Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated expertise in financial management, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. Nick has worked with various industries, including real estate, software, communications, and technology.

Nick Fan completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting (ACCA) from Shanghai Lixin University of Commerce, from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they attended the High School Affiliated to Fudan University, from 2004 to 2007, but did not obtain a specific degree or field of study during that time. Additionally, Nick obtained the ACCA certification in February 2012 and the CICPA certification in January 2013. No specific institutions were provided for these certifications.
