Riccardo Basile

Riccardo Basile has a diverse work experience. Riccardo is currently serving as the CEO and co-founder of AGORA, a video-based application focused on beauty and wellness. Prior to this, they worked at Isagro S.p.A. as a board member. Riccardo also co-founded Lazada Group, where they held various roles including chief mobile officer, chief commercial officer, and chief executive officer for Lazada Thailand. Riccardo has also worked at McKinsey & Company as a junior engagement manager and associate, where they led projects related to restructuring, turnaround plans, and market entry strategies. Riccardo started their career as a volunteer consultant at TechnoServe and as a summer associate at J.P. Morgan. Before that, they worked at Isagro S.p.A. as a senior business analyst, overseeing acquisitions and financial evaluations. Riccardo began their professional journey at A.T. Kearney as a business analyst.

Riccardo Basile has a diverse education history. Riccardo obtained their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Corporate Finance from Università Bocconi in the years 1998 to 2003. In 2002, during their time at Università Bocconi, they also attended Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public for a semester, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Corporate Finance. Later on, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance at NYU Stern School of Business.
