Robert J. Gilchrist

Project Executive at Agostini Construction

At the age of only 8 years old, Bob could be found carrying 2x4s and cleaning up around small jobs for his dad who was a carpenter in and around Central Massachusetts. By the age of 18, Bob was managing his own framing crew, building residential houses and earning enough to put himself through college. Bob’s lifelong love of construction has taken him from one-week assignments framing $100,000 houses to multi-year construction projects with values approaching $100 million.

Bob’s professional experience includes 17 years as an Owner’s Representative or Owner’s Project Manager and 9 years as a Project Manager or Project Executive. Bob offers clients the unique perspective of having managed projects from the Owner’s “side of the table” which has translated into an emphasis on problem solving and collaboration in addition to exceptional project planning and communication skills. In his current position, Bob has been directly responsible for more than $350 million in construction projects totaling nearly 1.5 million square feet of new and renovated space. Every one of Bob’s projects in the last 9 years has opened on time allowing clients to enjoy the very best in modern facilities.

Bob beautifully balances the demands of successful project management with spending quality time with his wife and 3 children. Whether it’s pursuing an obsession with Disney vacations or spending time on Newfound Lake in NH, Bob loves traveling and making family memories that involve nearly any outdoor activity.
