Alejandro Maese Novo

Alejandro Maese Novo is a technology and engineering expert with extensive experience in the photonics field. As Co-Founder and Technology & Engineering Manager at AGPhotonics since October 2023, Alejandro previously held the position of Photonic IC Engineer at IMS CHIPS from May 2020 to September 2023. Prior roles include Junior Scientist at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH, where responsibilities involved designing and characterizing integrated photonic devices for biosensor applications, as well as freelance Scientific Assistant at the same institute. Earlier experience includes a Graduate Student Research Assistant role at Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI, and research positions at Universidad de Málaga and Junta de Andalucía. Alejandro holds a Master of Science in Microelectronics and Photonics from Technische Universität Wien, a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Technologies Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Málaga.
