Ujwal Sahasrabudhe is an accomplished professional in supplier quality management with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as DGM Supplier Quality at Agratas since February 2024, Ujwal previously held the position of Senior Manager Supplier Quality and SQ Program Management at Stellantis, where responsibilities included overseeing the APQP process and managing engine program launches. Ujwal's prior roles at General Motors involved promoting APQP and investigating warranty-related quality issues, while earlier experience at Mahindra and Mahindra and Bajaj Auto included hands-on project management and engineering responsibilities in manufacturing and tool engineering. Ujwal holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Jawaharlal Darda Institute of Engineering & Technology and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic Yavatmal.

Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries applied to multiple use cases in the mobility and energy sectors, to match our customers’ requirements. Agratas will also support its customers with the integration of cells into their applications, such as modules and packs. We have already secured two anchor customers, Tata Motors and JLR. They provide us with the scale to establish our global battery business. Agratas will be driven by our pursuit of green growth and technological progress. We will develop next-generation battery technologies at new R&D Innovation Hubs in India and the UK, collaborating with world-leading universities, research institutions and strategic partners. We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality. Our name, derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Agra’, the world’s oldest language, stands for leadership.
