Puneet Goomar

Puneet Goomar has over 20 years of work experience. Puneet began their career in 2001 as a Footwear Department Sales Manager for Sports Experts. In 2003, they were a Junior Program Officer for the Government of Canada - Industry Canada. Puneet then moved to CGA-Canada (Certified General Accountants Association of Canada) in 2004 as a Consultant. In 2005, they were a Junior Economist for the Government of Canada - Department of Finance. In 2007, they were a Research Assistant for the Government of Canada - Industry Canada. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Senior Business Systems Analyst for CIBC. In 2018, they became a Product Owner for Univeris. Most recently, in 2021, they began their role as a Senior Business Analyst for Agreement Express, delivering custom solutions to quickly onboard payment merchants by automating manual underwriting workflows and risk decisions.

Puneet Goomar obtained a Master of Commerce degree in Applied Finance from The University of Queensland between 2008 and 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Economics from Carleton University between 2002 and 2005.
