Nelson Patricio Alvarado Palma

Nelson Patricio Alvarado Palma currently serves as the Regional Coordinator for Wildlife in the Ñuble Region at Servicio Agrícola y Ganadero since February 2009, where oversight includes implementing the Guidelines for Responsible Use of Antimicrobials in Livestock Production. Previous roles at the same organization encompass positions such as Head of Animal Information Systems and Head of the Certification Unit, where responsibilities included national management of certified animal farms and monitoring dioxins in animal feed. Prior to this, Nelson worked as a consulting veterinarian for INDAP, focusing on animal production and reproductive management for small-scale farmers. Educational qualifications range from a veterinary degree from Universidad de Las Américas to various diplomas in project formulation, leadership, and genetic improvement in livestock.
