Mark Prefontaine

Mark A. Prefontaine MA, CFA, ICD.D is the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Agriculture Financial Services Corporation (AFSC) and also serves as a Public Board Member and Audit Committee Chair at the General Insurance Statistical Agency. In addition, Mark is the Chief Appeals Commissioner of the Alberta Employment Pension Tribunal. With a background in finance, policy, and governance, Mark has held various leadership roles in government, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies. With extensive experience in managing strategic objectives and special projects, Mark brings a wealth of expertise to their current positions.
