Eric Martinez de Morentin has over 20 years of professional experience in software engineering, product architecture and development management. Eric began their career in 1999 as a Software Engineer at Presence Online, where they developed new features for the Aptrix Web Content Management Platform and started the development of a Java-based web content management solution. Eric also developed an integration between WebSphere Portal and Aptrix WCM platform. In 2003, they joined IBM as a Master Inventor and Lead Product Architect, responsible for the technical direction of the Web Content Manager product within IBM Digital Experience Suite (DX) and WebSphere Portal. Eric worked with other IBM product teams, global services teams, product management, business partners and customers to identify and prioritize requirements. Eric also worked directly with customers to understand their biggest pain points and offer guidance on how they can achieve their goals. In 2015, they joined AgriWebb as Head of Engineering and Development Manager. At AgriWebb, they were responsible for transforming global cattle and sheep production with farm management software that delivered profitability, provenance and sustainability across the supply chain. Eric was also a Senior Engineer at AgriWebb.

Eric Martinez de Morentin attended St Aloysius' College, Milsons Point from 1997 to obtain a High School degree. Eric then attended the University of Technology Sydney from 1998 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science with a focus in Software Engineering.
