Sawsen Sdiri

Sawsen Sdiri has a diverse work experience in the agricultural industry. Sawsen started their career at TECNIDEX, FRUIT PROTECTION in 2012 as a Product Manager. Sawsen later took on the role of International Business Development Manager in November 2015. In 2018, they joined AgroFresh as the Africa & Middle East Commercial Director. Their work has focused on developing and expanding business opportunities in the agricultural sector.

Sawsen Sdiri completed their education in a chronological order. Sawsen first obtained a degree in Agricultural Engineering from ESHE in Tunisia, from 1999 to 2004. Sawsen then pursued two Master of Science degrees, one in Food Science and Technology from INAT in Tunisia from 2004 to 2006, and another in Biological Agriculture from ISA in Tunisia from 2004 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia from 2008 to 2009. Sawsen then completed a doctorate in Food Science and Technology from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia from 2010 to 2013, earning their Doctor of Philosophy degree. Lastly, they studied Postharvest Physiology and Technology at Instituto Valenciano de Investigaciones Agrarias from 2007 to 2012.
