Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Agrolend

Xenia Yamanaka has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Starting in 1997, they completed an internship at BANCO CCF BRASIL in the Capital Markets Area. In 1998, they joined Itau-Unibanco as a Compliance Manager, where they implemented a new asset management process known as SAC-YMF and later worked on the implementation of the Brazilian Payment System (SPB) as a Compliance Officer. From 2005 to 2008, they managed the Compliance Officer team, overseeing projects related to SOX, accounting quality control, SAS70, Basel II, and taxes. Xenia then moved on to Itau Securities in 2008 as the Chief Compliance Officer at Itaú Middle East Securities Limited. In 2009, they returned to Itau-Unibanco as a Compliance Manager and later became the Financial Risk Manager, where they managed a team monitoring and analyzing financial risk. In 2014, they joined Safra as a Customer Service Senior Manager and then transitioned to the role of Compliance, Operational Risk, and Regulatory Affairs Manager. In 2020, they joined Finaxis Brasil as the Compliance, Internal Control, and AML Managing Director and most recently, in 2022, they became the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Agrolend, where they revolutionized credit for rural producers with a digital platform.

Xenia Yamanaka has a diverse education history. In 2019, they completed a Programa Superior en Big Data Analytics at Instituto Economía Digital ESIC. Xenia pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Internal Control and Compliance from FACULDADE FIPECAFI - Fundação Instituto de Pesquisas Contábeis, Atuariais e Financeiras during the period of 2007 to 2008. Xenia'sstudies in Finance include an MBA from Instituto Brasileiro de Mercado de Capitais, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. In 1995 to 1998, Xenia Yamanaka received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.

In addition to their formal education, Xenia Yamanaka has also obtained various certifications. In 2011, they completed a Curso Gestão de Riscos from BM&F. Xenia obtained a Certificado de Operador de Mesa - Mercado de Ações from ANCOR - Associação Nacional Corretoras de Valores Câmbio e Mercadorias in 2010. In 2009, they achieved the CPA-20 certification from ANBIMA - Associação Brasileira das Entidades dos Mercados Financeiro e de Capitais. Furthermore, they obtained a Certificação de ouvidoria – TREINA from Treina in October 2018.
