Mikhaela Pletsch

Mikhaela Pletsch began their professional career in 2015 as a Project Assistant at CIEDS. Mikhaela also became a Member of the Advisory Council and volunteer at the Bioleo Institute for Sustainable Development that same year. In 2016, they became a PHD Candidate and Master Degree Student at INPE. Most recently, in 2022, they joined A de Agro as an Associate Product Manager.

Mikhaela Pletsch has a diverse educational background. Mikhaela began their formal education in 2007 at Colégio Técnico de Campinas - Unicamp, where they completed their High School diploma. Mikhaela also obtained a Nurse Technician degree from the same school in 2009. From 2010 to 2015, they attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management. In 2013, they completed an Associate’s Degree in Spatial and Environmental Planning from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau. In 2016, they graduated from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) with a Master’s Degree in Remote Sensing. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from various institutions, including Coursera, European Space Agency - ESA, SELPER - Brasil, Serviço Municipal de Saneamento Ambiental de Santo André, SEMASA, Thomson Reuters – Éditions Yvon Blais, Universidad CEU San Pablo, and Universidade de São Paulo.
