Alvaro Ramos

Alvaro Ramos is a data scientist, GIS specialist, and remote sensing scientist with expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence applied to geospatial data. With a Master’s degree in Computational Modeling from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande, Alvaro has accumulated nearly a decade of experience in agricultural planning, environmental monitoring, and land use change mapping. They have contributed to significant projects such as the development of advanced geoprocessing techniques for deforestation analysis in the Amazon, while actively pursuing innovative solutions for sustainability. Currently, Alvaro holds a lead data scientist position at Agrotools, where they focus on integrating machine learning solutions for the agribusiness sector.
