Yiorgos Bontzios

Yiorgos Bontzios has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Yiorgos is currently the Co-founder and Chief Commercialization at Agroverse PC, a position they have held since November 2022. In addition, they are a Startup Mentor at OK!Thess since September 2022.

Yiorgos previously worked at Fieldscale from January 2015 to September 2022. During their time there, they held the positions of CEO and co-founder, where they played a crucial role in setting the company's vision and long-term targets. Yiorgos supervised all operations and was responsible for keeping the company moving both internally and externally. Yiorgos also served as a Director from September 2022 to March 2023.

Before Fieldscale, Yiorgos was the CEO and co-founder of edasys from January 2012 to November 2014. Yiorgos also worked as a Lecturer (Adj.) at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki from February 2012 to June 2013 and as a Scientific Assistant at TEI of Thessaloniki in 2010 and 2011.

Yiorgos Bontzios has a strong background in entrepreneurship and has contributed to the growth and success of multiple companies.

Yiorgos Bontzios completed their education in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering. From 2001 to 2005, they pursued their Master of Science (MSc) degree at Aristoteleion Panepistimion Thessalonikis. Following that, they enrolled in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2000 to 2005, where they earned their PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
