Reetika Agrawal

Reetika Agrawal has work experience as a Software Engineer at Ahana since December 2020. In this role, they are responsible for building cloud-managed Query services and is an active contributor to Open Source Presto.

Prior to their current position, Reetika worked at Walmart Global Tech India from August 2016 to December 2020 as a Software Engineer (Data Platform). During this time, they were involved in various projects, including building and managing a distributed query service across clouds using open-source Presto. Reetika also worked on data quality and data profiling for Data Lake data using Spark as a processing layer. Reetika managed petabyte-scale big data processing ecosystems and presented at multiple meetups and conferences. Additionally, they contributed to the open-source Presto project.

Reetika's work experience at @WalmartLabs India includes a software engineering internship from January 2016 to June 2016.

Reetika Agrawal completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from PESIT from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Class XII from SIDDHARTH PUBLIC SCHOOL in 2010, and their Class X from Saraswati BalikaVidya Mandir in 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Reetika obtained various certifications from different institutions, including Coursera and LinkedIn. Some of these certifications are "Distributed Computing with Spark SQL" from Coursera in April 2020, "Apache Spark Essential Training: Big Data Engineering" from LinkedIn in November 2019, "Learning Hadoop" from LinkedIn in November 2019, "Analyzing Big Data with Hive" from LinkedIn in October 2019, "Learning Cloud Data Storage" from LinkedIn in October 2019, "Presto Essentials: Data Science" from LinkedIn in October 2019, and "Programming for Everybody (Python)" from Coursera in December 2014.
