Kim Matthews has a comprehensive work experience in the animal science and agriculture sector. Starting as a Scientific Officer at Meat and Livestock Commission in 1992, they progressed to roles like Meat Scientist, Head of R&D and eventually became the Head of Animal Breeding & Product Quality at AHDB. Kim also served as Interim Head of R&D at AHDB-EBLEX and held roles as Member Nominated Trustee Director at MLC Pension Scheme Trustees Limited. Currently, they are active in BSAS as Vice President, President, and Past President (Trustee).
