Angus Atkins-Trimnell

Angus Atkins-Trimnell is an experienced application developer with a strong background in software engineering and data management. Currently working at AHIMA since January 2019, Angus is responsible for back-end programming and front-end web design of association management software, utilizing C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Angular. Prior to this role, Angus served as a Senior Software Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology from September 2008 to January 2019, focusing on tool creation to enhance hiring processes using the LAMP stack and C#. Earlier experience at the University of Illinois at Chicago involved oversight of data needs for community outreach projects, while previous positions at DePaul University included roles as a Prospect Researcher and Administrative Assistant in Major Gifts. Angus holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Governors State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Augustana College.
