Bilal Anwar

Bilal Anwar is a seasoned banking professional currently serving as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer at ahlibank since October 2007, where responsibilities encompass the entire business operations of the Bank. Prior to this role, Bilal held the position of General Manager & Head of Corporate Banking, overseeing Corporate Banking, Project Finance & Advisory, Transactional Banking, and SME business, reporting directly to the CEO. With prior experience at Ahli United Bank as a Senior RM, IDBI Bank as Senior Manager, and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank as Assistant Manager, Bilal has built a comprehensive career in the financial sector. Educational qualifications include an OAMLP in Business Administration from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, a CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, an MBA in Finance from IBS Hyderabad, and a Chartered Financial Analyst designation from ICFAI University, along with a B.Com in Law from the University of Allahabad.
