Tonya Herring

Tonya Herring is a seasoned retail and merchandising executive with extensive experience in the grocery sector. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Omni-Channel Development at Ahold Delhaize USA since March 2022, Tonya previously held the position of Chief Merchandising Officer and Senior Vice President of Merchandising at Giant Food from January 2018 to March 2022. Prior to that, Tonya was the Senior Vice President of Merchandising for Non-Perishables at Ahold from February 2015 to December 2017. Tonya's career began at Safeway Inc., where from 1991 to February 2015, several roles were undertaken including Vice President of Category Development for Perishables, Group Director of Category Development for Consumer Brands Perishables, and Regional Director for Deli Food Service Starbucks.
