Patrick de Oude

Patrick de Oude has a diverse work experience in various roles. Patrick started their career as a PHP/SQL/Flash developer at StreamMedia in 2003. From 2004 onwards, they worked at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, initially as a part-time Java software developer during their master and PhD studies. Their responsibilities included implementation, testing/debugging, and maintaining a multi-agent system. Patrick also worked on building a prototype for the detection and leak localization of gases using sensors and humans as information sources. In 2010, Patrick joined Thales R&T NL/ D-CIS Lab as a Senior Researcher, where they continued until 2018. During their time there, they also worked as a Freelance Researcher. Since 2018, they have been working at Ahold as a Senior Data Scientist & Lead Data Science.

Patrick de Oude obtained a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Amsterdam, from 2000 to 2004. Patrick then pursued a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence with a specialization in Intelligent Systems from the same university, completing it between 2004 and 2006.
