Rody van der Pouw-Kraan

Rody van der Pouw-Kraan is an active participant in local governance and policy-making, serving as a Commission member for the CDA in the Province of Utrecht since September 2023, focusing on Governance, Economy, Culture & Heritage, and Mobility & Energy Transition. Rody also serves as a Political Assistant for the CDA in the Municipality of De Ronde Venen, participating in the Youth Advisory Committee to address issues affecting young people. Since March 2023, Rody has been a Policy Officer for the Utrecht Provincial Council and has held various roles at Ahold since June 2017, including positions in the cashier team and fresh department. Previous experience includes an internship at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations working on Resilient Governance and an internship in the City of The Hague focusing on Diversity & Inclusion. Rody is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in History of Politics and Society at Utrecht University, following a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Leiden University and a Pre-University Education at Veenlanden College.
