Niek Zandvliet

Niek Zandvliet is a skilled Product Development Engineer currently employed at Ahrend since June 2022, with previous experience as a Mechanical Engineer/Product Developer at Craftworks BV from October 2014 to May 2022. Niek has a diverse background in design and engineering, having served as a Design Engineer at FLEX/the INNOVATIONLAB B.V. from September 2012 to September 2014 and completed internships in various engineering roles at Elcon Sawing Technology, FLEX/the INNOVATIONLAB B.V., PK Machinebuilding, Kranenburg Facade Maintenance Systems, and Van Tol Steel Construction Company. Notably, during a graduation project at Studio Schrofer, Niek designed an outdoor recliner featuring a unique design and innovative folding mechanism. Niek holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Design Engineering from The Hague University, completed between 2006 and 2012.
