Huaxiang Yang

Huaxiang Yang is a Sr Product Development Engineer at ExxonMobil since March 2025, with extensive experience in research and development across multiple prestigious organizations. Prior to ExxonMobil, Huaxiang held positions at Albemarle Corporation, serving as an Advisor in both R&T for Customer Technical Support and New Product Development, where responsibilities included managing projects on curing agents and developing flame-retardant materials for lithium batteries. Previous roles include Manager of R&D at both Covia and Fairmount Santrol, overseeing teams for product and process development, and advancing various technologies in the energy market. Early career experience includes research positions at Crosslink, The University of Southern Mississippi, LCPO at Université Bordeaux 1, and Zhejiang University, where a strong foundation in polymer chemistry and innovative material development was established. Huaxiang holds a PhD in Polymer Chemistry & Physics from Zhejiang University.
