Nour Karessli

Nour Karessli is an accomplished Data Science Manager at Zalando, with a career spanning from March 2018 to the present, during which Nour has held roles as Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist. Additionally, Nour serves as an accredited expert in Deep Learning and Computer Vision at AI Guild since May 2021, recognized for expertise validated through a rigorous assessment process. In the earlier career, Nour contributed to the Data Science Retreat as a teacher focusing on advanced topics including zero-shot and few-shot learning. Previous roles also include Computer Vision Engineer at EyeEm and Research Assistant positions at Max Planck Institute for Informatics and Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), where Nour worked on innovative projects related to machine learning and user optimization for bicycle routes. Nour holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Damascus University.
