Jorrith Schaap has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jorrith started their career as an intern at KPN Research, where they conducted research on automated classification of helpdesk email. Jorrith then moved on to BuyWays, where they worked as a web developer, senior web developer, and eventually as a project manager. At BuyWays, they were responsible for developing websites and internet applications, as well as managing a small team of developers.
In 2011, Jorrith joined Crowdynews where they held multiple roles including senior developer, IT director, product director, chief executive officer, and CTO. Jorrith'sresponsibilities at Crowdynews involved product development, improvement of the Crowdynews Social Media platform, and coordination of a team of developers.
Jorrith also worked at MSX Resource Center as an administrator, where they were responsible for technical maintenance and implementation of a new website using Drupal. Jorrith later joined Ziel Inc. PBC as an interim CTO.
Currently, Jorrith Schaap is working at AI-Infrasolutions as an IT Director.
Jorrith Schaap earned a Master's Degree in Information Science from the University of Groningen in 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English Language and Culture from the same university in 1996.
