Lisa Lehner

Lisa Lehner has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Lisa is currently the Director at Americans for Immigrant Justice since January 2019, and also holds the position of Senior Litigation Attorney since August 2017. Previously, they worked as a Practitioner at Lisa Lehner PA from May 2016 to August 2017. Prior to that, they were a Partner at Lipscomb Eisenberg & Baker from April 2014 to May 2016. Lisa also served as a Partner at Thornton Davis and Fein from 1998 to 2004. In addition, they worked as an Adjunct Professor - Appellate Advocacy at St. Thomas University School of Law from January 1998 to May 1998. Lisa's earlier experience includes working as an Assistant State Attorney at Dade State Attorney's Office from 1989 to 1995, where they served as a Legal Advisor to State Attorneys Janet Reno and Katherine Fernandez Rundle.

Lisa Lehner completed their Bachelor's Degree in History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1972 to 1976. Following this, from 1980 to 1983, Lisa attended the University of Miami School of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
