Sarah Desouza

Sarah deSouza serves as the Founding COO of AI Makerspace since July 2023. Prior to this role, Sarah worked at DeepLearning.AI as the Community & Events Marketing Manager from April 2022 to July 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing more than 20 virtual and in-person events and managing a global team of 30 event ambassadors. Sarah also held the position of Community Manager at dev/color from December 2017 to October 2021, setting up engineering chapters in Seattle and Atlanta and developing a partnership strategy with notable industry leaders. Earlier, as the Marketing Manager at House of Granite from July 2017 to December 2017, Sarah managed social media strategies and media campaigns to drive sales growth. Sarah began the professional journey as a Fashion Stylist at Stitch Fix from March 2016 to April 2017, focusing on client connections and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
