James Kinnally

James Kinnally is a dedicated researcher currently serving as a Research Associate in Immunotherapeutics at AI Proteins since June 2023. Previously, Kinnally held multiple positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Rhode Island, contributing to studies in the Laboratory of Viral Immunity and Pathogenesis, the Zhang Lab focusing on metabolism, and a separate project investigating bacterial interactions in the oral microbiome. Additional experience includes a Protein Science Co-Op at Moderna, where Kinnally developed antibodies, and an internship as a Research Technician at ProThera Biologics, assisting in therapeutic protein development. Kinnally earned a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology with a focus on Cell & Molecular Biology from the University of Rhode Island and participated in a study abroad program at Universitat de Barcelona.
