Sam Henry Lazarus

Sam Henry L. is an accomplished professional with a strong background in international politics and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the Special Assistant to the President and Research Associate for the China Strategy Initiative at the Council on Foreign Relations since August 2023, Sam previously held the role of Strategic Advisor at Melange from November 2021 to December 2023. As the Founder and CEO of Slide from November 2019 to January 2022, Sam demonstrated entrepreneurial skills. Sam's earlier positions include serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chair of Credit at the Georgetown University Alumni & Student Federal Credit Union, and Vice President - Technology at the Georgetown University Student Investment Fund. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in International Politics from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service and a high school diploma from Sidwell Friends School.
