Tai Ngee Chia

Tai Ngee Chia is an experienced AI Engineer specializing in applied research for foundation models at AI Singapore, where responsibilities include evaluating state-of-the-art natural language processing (NLP) models for low-resource languages and pioneering implementations in Indonesian/Malay. Prior to this, Tai served as a Full-Stack Web Developer and Designer at BTWN, successfully building dynamic websites and managing development lifecycles. Earlier experience includes an internship at SGX, where dashboard development for securities data was a key responsibility. Tai holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Information Technology from Singapore University of Social Sciences.
