Wayne Lau

Wayne Lau is an AI Engineer at AI Singapore since February 2023, where responsibilities include setting up distributed training clusters on AWS and troubleshooting network printers. Previously, as an AI Apprentice, Wayne explored advanced architectures such as CNN, RNN, and Transformers, while enhancing skills in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and progression in end-to-end pipeline development. Prior experience in the Republic of Singapore Air Force from January 2018 to February 2023 as an Aerospace Mechanic involved specialization in vibration analysis and balancing for helicopter systems, alongside collaboration with naval forces on bilateral missions. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Honours) with a minor from Singapore University of Social Sciences, a Diploma in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic, and 'O' Levels from Nan Chiau High School.
