Jia Gu

Architectural Designer at AI SpaceFactory

Jia Gu has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and design. They started their career in 2011 as a Program Board Publicity Officer at Macalester College. In 2012, they worked as an Architecture Intern at JZFZ Beijing architectural design and also served as a Teaching Assistant at Macalester College. In 2014, Jia Gu worked as an Architecture Intern at neri&hu. They then joined dorte mandrup arkitekter a/s in 2015 as an Architecture Designer. Simultaneously, they worked as a Research Assistant at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. In 2017, Jia Gu joined AECOM as an Architectural Designer and Urban Designer. Currently, they are working at AI SpaceFactory as an Architectural Designer.

Jia Gu pursued higher education and received a Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) from Harvard University Graduate School of Design from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, Jia completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Math, Computer Science, and Studio Art at Macalester College from 2009 to 2013. In 2011 to 2012, Jia participated in the Study Away program at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, focusing on Architecture in both New York and Paris.
