Johannes H. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Johannes is currently working as a Researcher in AI applied to Ecology at the Research Center on Desertification (CIDE), Universitat de València - CSIC - GVA, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they held a role as a Communications Officer at 1994 Group for a few months in 2013.
Johannes also has experience in New Media Communications, as they worked at the University of Toronto, Dunlap Institute for Astronomy & Astrophysics from November 2010 to March 2013. Johannes began their postdoctoral research career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Yale University from September 2006 to August 2008. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Valencia from October 2004 to August 2006.
Johannes H. completed their education with a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2000 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering from ESPCI Paris - PSL, graduating in 2000. In 1999 and 2000, they also pursued a Graduate Degree in Advanced Studies in Theoretical Physics at Ecole normale supérieure. Later, in 2008 to 2010, Johannes pursued a Master of Science degree in Science Journalism from Boston University.
