Ido Weiss

Ido Weiss is an accomplished algorithm developer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently working at AI21 Labs since November 2023, Ido previously held the position of Senior Algorithm Developer at Nucleai from November 2021 to November 2023. Prior to that, Ido served in various roles, including Computer Vision Research Engineer, Computer Vision Software Engineer, and Android Developer at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 from September 2016 to August 2021. Ido gained Android development experience through volunteering at Startach from October 2017 to October 2018. Additionally, Ido was a Technology Officer for the IDF Special Forces from September 2015 to September 2016 and completed the Talpiot Program as a Cadet from July 2012 to July 2015. Ido holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Computer Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and another Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Jerusalem College of Technology.
