Amilcar Pena

Amilcar Pena currently serves as Vice President at Code Crunch since September 2024 and is simultaneously a Data Science Intern at Lid Vizion, where collaboration focuses on developing educational games and software solutions. As a Technical Interview Prep Tech Fellow at CodePath, Amilcar mentors students in technical interviews and leads collaborative sessions. In the role of Support Intensive Course Assistant at Florida International University’s College of Engineering & Computing, Amilcar evaluates programming assignments and reviews Java programs for the Data Structures course. Previous experience includes a Software Engineering Fellowship at Headstarter AI, where several AI applications were developed, and participation in Google's Tech Exchange program, enhancing skills in applied data structures and cloud computing. Amilcar also has experience as a Field Operations Student Assistant at Florida International University. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Florida International University, expected to graduate in May 2026.
