Kelvin Fong

Kelvin Fong, FIAA, CERA is a highly experienced actuary currently serving as Project Actuary at AIA Australia since September 2021, leading the implementation of a new valuation solution for IFRS17 reporting. Kelvin has effectively guided methodology discussions, simplified calculations through changes like PAA, and communicated technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Previous roles at AIA included IFRS17 Reporting Actuary and Valuation Actuary, where Kelvin analyzed financial results and led valuation teams. Additional experience includes Assistant Manager for IFRS 17 Implementation and Analytics at AIA, and positions at Prudential Corporation Asia and PwC Hong Kong, focusing on Solvency II reporting, financial modeling, and regulatory consulting. Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies from UNSW and an Associateship from the Actuaries Institute.
