Shannon McElveen has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Starting from 1991, they worked at The Coca-Cola Company, where they progressed from an Accountant to Budget Services Manager. In 2002, they became a Principal at ABS Tax and Consulting, handling various consulting and tax-related responsibilities until 2006. From 2003 to 2006, Shannon worked as a Controller at Centennial Construction Company, managing financial operations for a general contractor and two development companies. Following this, they took on the role of Controller at DANKO Concrete Construction from 2006 to 2016. They then joined JR Hobbs Co. as the Vice President - CFO from 2016 to 2019 and later served as the Controller until 2017. Shannon also held the position of VP of Finance at National Customs Corporate Svcs from 2019 to 2020. In 2020, they took on the role of Executive Director at Triton Advisory Services until 2021. From 2020 onwards, Shannon worked at AIA Contract Documents, moving up the ranks from Director of Project Management to Vice President of Strategic Solutions and then Chief of Staff. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at AIA Contract Documents, where they oversee various operations and functions while also serving as the executive sponsor for Women's Leadership and Diversity Councils.
