Georgia Sarkin

Georgia Sarkin is a board member at AIASF. Georgia was an associate partner at Pei Cobb Freed & Partners from January 2002 to August 2014. From January 2004 to December 2007, they were a design critic, urban design & planning at Harvard University Graduate School of Design. From January 2008 to December 2009, they were an adjunct associate professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. Sarkin was with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) from September 2014 to February 2019 as an associate director in the higher education practice leader, West Coast.

Georgia Sarkin attended the University of Cape Town for their Bachelor of Architectural Studies (B Arch Studies) and the University of KwaZulu-Natal for their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.). Georgia then went on to Harvard University's Graduate School of Design to earn their Masters of Architecture in Urban Design (MAUD) with distinction. Georgia is also certified by the American Institute Architects, International Associate, the American Institute of Certified Planners, and the Royal Institute British Architects.
