Autumn Jolitz

Autumn Jolitz has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2007, Autumn worked as a Scientific Programmer at the UC Santa Cruz Institute for Particle Physics, where they designed data analysis programs and wrote specifications for analyzing atmospheric muon scintillator data. In 2008, they joined the NASA Ames Research Center as a Python Programmer, where they implemented a replay analysis program and improved data integrity procedures.

Autumn then worked at Embee Mobile in 2009 as a PHP Programmer, developing a robust invite system using Facebook Connect and debugging SQL databases. In 2010, they became a System and Network Administrator at Triangle UCLA, implementing high availability NAS systems and managing connectivity and service level agreements.

In 2011, Autumn joined 50 Cubes, Inc. as a Game Developer, optimizing SVG manipulation for Fashion Designer and implementing a complete model-view-controller flow for game UI and data. Autumn founded CoolClip in 2008, where they integrated NGinX/Apache Python for video production scaling and automated video decoding using FFmpeg/Libavcodec.

Autumn worked as a Software Engineer at MovieLaLa from 2012 to 2013, maintaining and updating Rails code, developing a recursive descent parser, and creating a custom caching Python proxy. At Acxiom from 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer, designing and developing Data Leakage technology.

Autumn then joined GroundTruth in 2015 as a Sr Software Engineer and later became an Architect. In this role, Autumn designed and implemented backends for various projects, including automating business processes, creating intuitive service platforms, handling registration and notification systems, and utilizing location data for heatmap generation. Autumn also extensively used GroundTruth External API.

Currently, Autumn works at Aible as a Senior Software Engineer, starting in 2018.

Autumn Jolitz pursued their education in the field of Physics at UCLA. Autumn completed their degree in Physics/CS, specializing in the study of Physics.
