Leon van Houten

Leon van Houten has extensive experience in technical and engineering roles within the maritime and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as a Field Service Technician at Aichelin Group since January 2018, Leon specializes in the maintenance of industrial furnaces at Mercedes Benz Germany. In addition, Leon works as an Onderhoudstechnicus at Bosch Transmission Technology B.V., focusing on routine maintenance of production machines. Previous positions include Monteur electrisch en mechanisch at Alumax Boats, where Leon contributed to the assembly of aluminum boats, and various engineering roles with Heerema Marine Contractors, Seafox, and Boskalis, where Leon developed skills in machinery operation and engineering support on vessels. Leon obtained technical education from Zeevaart school Abel Tasman Delfzijl.
