Kassi Rushing, APR, is the founder and principal consultant of Kassi Rushing Consulting, established in October 2020, where expertise is focused on empowering accounting firms to cultivate people-centric, high-performing cultures through strategic planning and partner retreats. Concurrently, Kassi Rushing serves at AICPA-CIMA's Business Learning Institute, facilitating strategic planning and designing competency-based curricula to enhance career trajectories. Prior experience includes over 13 years at HORNE LLP, where roles spanned from Director of People Growth & Engagement to Communication Director, overseeing multi-departmental teams and executing comprehensive communication strategies. Earlier career positions include Corporate Communicator at Southern Farm Bureau and Collegiate Development Consultant for Delta Gamma. Kassi Rushing holds a B.A. in Communication, Public Relations from Mississippi State University and a Master of Science in Corporate Communication & Public Relations from Mississippi College.
