Vuyo Geqe

Vuyo Geqe is an experienced marketing and events management professional currently serving as Senior Specialist at the AICPA since 2021. Previous roles include Event Executive at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, Coordinator for the Export Advancement Programme at Wesgro, and Sales Consultant at Old Mutual South Africa. Vuyo began the career as an Event Coordinator Intern at the University of Cape Town Conference Management Centre and has also served as a Brand Promoter for Orisons Events and Promotion and participated in a marketing internship at the South African Football Association. Vuyo's early career included a position as Suit Waiter during the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Vuyo holds a degree in Tourism in Events Management from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and recently completed a presentation course at the University of Michigan.
