Kristian Aarseth has a diverse work experience in various roles within the design industry. In 2011, they started as an intern at Permafrost designstudio. In 2013, they worked as an Industrial Designer at Fimbul Design AS and later as an Industrial Designer at their own company, Kristian Aarseth Design. From 2016 to 2018, they held the position of Vice President of Product at Moonwalk Tomorrow and subsequently became the Creative Director and Designer at skyfer AS.
In 2018, Aarseth joined Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) as a UX-Designer and Concept Developer. Kristian later became the UX Area Manager until July 2021. Currently, they hold the position of UX Lead at Aidn, starting in June 2023. Throughout their career, Aarseth has showcased their expertise and passion for design, steadily progressing to leadership positions in the field.
Kristian Aarseth pursued their education in a chronological manner. Starting in 2006, they attended the Oslo fotokunstskole where they studied photography. After completing this program in 2007, they enrolled at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) and obtained a Master's degree in Industrial design, specializing in the field of Design, which they completed in 2012. Additionally, from 2010 to 2011, Kristian Aarseth pursued further studies in industrial design and furniture at Danmarks Designskole.
