Michal Afek

Michal Afek has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Michal is currently the Director of Product Operations at Aidoc, where they oversee the R&D plans and implements product lifecycle processes. Michal collaborates with different departments to accelerate new product development and launch.

Prior to their current role, Michal was the Head of Customer Success US and a Senior Customer Success Manager at Aidoc.

Michal also has experience at Intel Corporation, where they held positions such as Data-Science and Product Team Lead, Senior Product Manager, and Product Manager in the Big-data analytics department.

Before joining Intel, Michal worked as a Teaching Assistant at Ben Gurion University and as a Data Analyst at Intel Corporation's Fabrication plants.

Michal also gained teaching experience as a Psychometric Course Instructor at Kidum.

Their early career includes serving as an Intelligence Analyst in the IDF - Israel Defence Forces.

Michal Afek completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Statistics & Machine-Learning at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2009 to 2011. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialty in Information systems from Ben-Gurion University between 2006 and 2010. In 2014, Michal also obtained a certification as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
