Marketing Director, Europe at Aidoc

Nicola Emery, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Nicola is currently working as the Marketing Director for Europe at Aidoc. Prior to this, they held various positions at Within3, including Senior Manager of Global Demand Marketing, Global Marketing Manager, and Digital Marketing Manager for the UK/EMEA/APAC regions. Nicola also worked as a Marketing Communications Leader at GE Healthcare, where they developed and implemented marketing strategies for the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics arm of the company. Additionally, Nicola has experience as a Multichannel Marketing Senior Associate at Amgen, a Marketing Manager for Neuroscience at Abcam, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. Nicola also completed their PhD at the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research and their undergraduate studies at the University of York. Prior to that, they gained industry experience as an Industrial Placement Student at GlaxoSmithKline. Throughout their work experience, Nicola has developed expertise in various areas such as lead generation, brand awareness, thought leadership, content generation, campaign planning, and marketing automation.

Nicola Emery, PhD, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Clinical Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Philosophy degree from the same university in 2010. Nicola holds a BSc Hons in Molecular Cell Biology (with a year in industry) from the University of York, which they earned between 2005 and 2009. Nicola's A-level education, which includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and German, was completed at Glossopdale Community College from 1998 to 2004. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained certifications in HubSpot Marketing Software from HubSpot Academy in April 2023, and The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage in 2020.
